Pat Eckerson spent the afternoon of Saturday, December 5 in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, serving as the head judge for the throwing events at MSU's blue and gold scrimmage for track and field. After returning to his home in Buttet, Eckerson died of natural causes on Sunday morning.
