Montana State freshman Camila Noe placed fifth in the women's 6-kilometer race at the NCAA Division 1 Mountain Regional, clocking 20:04.5 at Rose Park Golf Course in Salt Lake City, Utah. Noe became the first Montana State female athlete to advance to the NCAA Division 1 Championships since Heather Demorest finished 58th in 2013 in Terre Haute, Ind., the same venue where Noe will compete Nov. 23 in the final.
